Astrial hosts a variety of "self-hosted" open source alternative online services. The following is an outline of what data we collect when you interact with our services.

2. Data collected when you sign up or interact with our services
In addition to data we collect by default, when you sign up or interact with our services we also collect the following:

3. Data Requests
While we will try our best to carry out each data reterival or deletion request, please be aware that the extent to which Astrial can delete or retrieve your data can vary from service to service.
In some cases, data may not be able to be deleted, and may only be anonymised. We will notify you as part of your request if this is the case.
We do not accept any responsibility in the case that your data is preserved by a third party outside of our control (such as the Web Archive).

4. Data Sharing
4.1. Legally Compelled Disclosure
Unless prevented by legally binding court order or law, we will make a reasonable effort to notify users of any legally compelled disclosure of their information. We may disclose any information collected about you to appropriate law enforcement if compelled to in response to a valid subpoena, court order, search warrant or similar.
4.2. Aggregate and Anonymised Information
We may share general, aggregated and non-identifiable information with others about the operation of our services, our users and user activity. For example, we may publish aggregate statistics about user activity across our services.
We do not sell your data to third parties.
4.3. Public Data
Some data you provide us is made public as part of the operation of our services. For example, when you create a public repository on Astrial Git, the contents of that repository are public-facing and may be accessed by third parties through our services.
Certain personal information associated with your public-facing content could be gathered by third parties outside our control. If you do not wish for your personal information to be gathered by these third parties, you should not make your personal information publically accessible. For example, you may wish to hide your email address from any public profiles on our services.
5. Data Location
Your data is stored in Singapore (the Republic of Singapore) on servers provided by our hosting provider, 365 Group LLC. You can read their privacy policy on their website.
